SenseOn Platform 5.17
Assets can now group duplicate devices, so a device that has had its Universal Sensor reinstalled appears once instead of several times. Experience opens on a High to Critical severity filter that you can edit or remove at any time to see cases of every severity. Data Connectors now highlight connections that have gone quiet, so you can spot a feed that has stopped sending data at a glance. The Service Usage dashboard in Reveal only appears once there is usage data to show, and two-factor authentication help is clearer. SenseOn Insight, a monthly security report for your organisation, is also available on request.
What's new
Group duplicate devices
A new Group duplicate devices toggle in Assets combines device records that share the same hostname, FQDN, operating system and Active Directory OU. This keeps your device list tidy when a sensor has been reinstalled on the same machine. The toggle is on by default, and the device summary on the Overview follows the same setting, so the device counts on both pages match.
- Experience: the default cases view starts with a Case Severity: High to Critical filter. It works like any other filter, so you can edit it, or remove it to see cases of every severity.
-
Data Connectors: the Data last received time on each connection is highlighted in amber when no data has arrived for over a week, and in red after four weeks, with a tooltip explaining what it means.
-
SenseOn Insight: a monthly security report for your organisation, shown in a new Reports widget on the Overview and on its own SenseOn Insight page, where you can switch between months. Contact SenseOn to request access.
What's improved
- Reveal: the Service Usage dashboard only appears once there is usage data to show.
- Two-factor authentication: the Lost or changed your device? help on the sign-in prompt now points administrators to the authenticator app reset under Settings > Team.
