SenseOn Platform 5.10

Reveal adds six new dashboards for the logs you send to SenseOn, covering identity and access, network activity, application activity, system activity, asset discovery and security findings. Each dashboard appears automatically once you have matching log data, so you only see the ones that apply to you. A new side menu groups dashboards by category and lets you mark your favourites. Hunt Lab also continues its redesign, with a query area that keeps your actions to hand as you scroll, an editor you can minimise, and a more compact query history that shows each query's status at a glance.

What's new

Log Ingestion dashboards in Reveal

Reveal now includes dashboards for the log data you send to SenseOn through Log Ingestion: IAM Auth Logs, Network Activity Logs, Application Activity Logs, System Activity Logs, Asset Discovery Logs and Security Findings Logs. A dashboard appears as soon as SenseOn has received matching logs in the last 30 days, so there are no empty dashboards to wade through. If you don't use Log Ingestion yet, contact SenseOn to request access.

  • Reveal: a collapsible side menu lists your dashboards grouped by category, and you can mark dashboards as favourites.
  • Reveal: the VPC Flow Logs dashboard is replaced by Network Activity Logs, which includes VPC flow data.
  • Log Ingestion: if you aren't ingesting logs yet, the empty state explains the storage and observation options available, with an Enquire about log ingestion button to get in touch.

What's improved

  • Hunt Lab: the query area scrolls as one, with the action bar pinned to the top. The results header brings together the CSV download, view mode and query duration.
  • Hunt Lab: minimise or expand the editor with a single button, in place of dragging a divider.
  • Hunt Lab: query history items are more compact, with icons showing each query's status, how many rows it returned and whether its results have expired. A sharing button shows whether a query is private or shared, and who owns it.
  • Hunt Lab: the Run button shows a spinner while your query runs, so it's clear the query has started.
  • Reveal: chart legends with many entries scroll instead of overflowing.
