SenseOn Platform 5.4

The Investigate case feed is now a menu in the main navigation, so you can check for new cases from any page without losing your place. Every case also has its own link, which you can bookmark or share with a colleague. Log Ingestion has a new form for requesting the log sources you want to bring into SenseOn, and eight connectors are listed as coming soon in the integration catalogue. Case severity colours are easier to tell apart, especially in dark mode, and Experience keeps the key details of each entity front and centre.

What's new

Case feed from anywhere

Hover over Investigate in the main navigation to open the case feed from any page in the SenseOn Platform. The feed remembers where you scrolled to, so you can dip in to check new cases and carry on with what you were doing. Each case in Investigate now has its own address, so you can bookmark it, share it, or use your browser's back button to return to a case you were looking at.

  • Log Ingestion: request a new log source from a form on the Log ingestion tab, which was previously called Custom log sources. When you have no log sources yet, the tab shows examples of the kinds of sources you can bring in.
  • Data Connectors: Cisco Meraki, Cisco Umbrella, Cato Networks, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, FortiAnalyzer, Abnormal AI, Mimecast and Orca Security are coming soon. Select Get notified when we launch on any of them to hear when it's available.

What's improved

  • Case severity: Medium cases are now shown in yellow and Low cases in teal, so each severity is easier to tell apart, especially in dark mode.
  • Investigate: the case management panel stays open after you close a case, and the closing report explains more clearly what happens next.
  • Experience: less important attributes on each entity sit behind a See more section, so the key details are quicker to scan.
  • Reflex: quarantine and memory protection events use the same icon as Reflex actions, and the Reflex badge now appears on the Experience page as well as in the case feed.
  • Data Connectors: tooltips in the integration details explain the difference between Data last fetched and Data last received.
  • Branding: the SenseOn logo is refreshed across the SenseOn Platform.
