SenseOn Platform: Nov 2025

SenseOn Platform 5.0 brings dark mode to everyone. Choose Light, Dark or Auto from your personal settings, and the whole platform follows, from the Overview and Investigate to Hunt Lab and Assets. The personal settings page has been reorganised to make room for it, and now shows your permission level too. Earlier in the month, case comments and closing notes got a new design, and Experience makes better use of the space on smaller screens.

What's new

Dark mode

Every user can now switch the SenseOn Platform to dark mode. Go to Settings > Personal and pick Light, Dark or Auto under Customise your workspace theme. Auto follows your computer's own light or dark setting, and is the default, so if your computer already uses dark mode the SenseOn Platform will open in dark mode too. Dark mode covers every page, including the Overview, Investigate, Experience, Hunt Lab, Assets, dashboards, Integrations and Settings.

  • Personal settings: the page is organised into clear sections for your personal details, security and appearance, and shows the permissions that come with your role.

What's improved

  • Cases: comments and closing notes on a case have a new design that is easier to read.
  • Experience: the page adapts when the case management panel is open or the window is narrow, so case details no longer get squashed.
  • Knowledge Graph: a relationship from an entity to itself is drawn as a curved arrow, so it is clear to see.
  • EPP Exclusions: for settings with more than one exclusion type, such as file paths and processes accessing the file, saving one type keeps the exclusions you've set for the other.
  • Help links: links to help articles throughout the SenseOn Platform now open the matching page on the SenseOn documentation site.

What do I need to do?

Nothing. If your computer uses dark mode, the SenseOn Platform now opens in dark mode too. To keep the light theme, choose Light in Settings > Personal.
