SenseOn Platform: Aug 2025

Experience has a new design that lays out each case and observation as a chain of the entities involved and how they relate, so you can follow what happened at a glance. In Investigate, response actions such as isolating a device or terminating a process now sit in an action menu on each device, process and Knowledge Graph node, with the most common actions a single click away. The Investigate panels have a cleaner look, and the process tree now shows each process's parent automatically.

What's new

A new Experience design

Experience now shows the entities in each case and observation, such as users, devices and IP addresses, in a line joined by the relationships between them. Select an entity to expand its details, or select a relationship to see more about it. Details that describe an entity, such as the user signed in to a device, sit underneath it. When you search, an entity is labelled with the value you searched for, so you can see straight away why it matched. The observations view uses the same design, and an icon marks observations that have been triaged automatically.

  • Experience: cases with response history show a count of the actions taken. Select it to open the response overview, including any notes left on each action.
  • Investigate: devices and processes in the Devices list of the case overview have an action menu in their header, bringing response actions and investigation actions together in one place. Common actions such as Isolate and Terminate appear as shortcuts beside the menu.
  • Knowledge Graph: device and process nodes have their own action menu, so you can act on any node without selecting it first.
  • Knowledge Graph: when you open the process tree, SenseOn looks up the parent of the process and adds it automatically when it can be found, so you start with more of the picture.

What's improved

  • Investigate: panels have a refreshed design with a clearer layout. Telemetry evidence is easier to read, third-party details show the provider's icon, and response history uses Show more and Show less.
  • Investigate: response history panels now focus on the actions already taken, with new actions launched from the action menu.
  • Investigate: the case timeline scrolls sideways when a case has more events than fit on screen.
  • Data Connectors: the AWS Security Hub setup instructions in the SenseOn Platform remind you to give the stack a unique name in your AWS account.

This round-up covers SenseOn Platform 4.49, 4.50 and 4.51.
