SenseOn Platform: Feb 2025

Endpoint Protection exclusions have a new layout that groups them by type and lets you add or edit each one in a short form, with checks before you save. Every observation now shows whether it came from an endpoint, the network or the cloud, and which integration raised it where that applies. The Data Connectors catalogue is organised into category tabs, Experience exports are much faster, and the Investigate window in Experience uses almost the whole screen.

What's new

Clearer Endpoint Protection exclusions

In a segment's Endpoint Protection settings, exclusions are now grouped by type, such as file path or process, under each Antimalware and Process Protection setting. Add or edit an exclusion in a compact form beside the list, which checks your entries before you save. File path response exclusions make clear that you need a path or a file hash. See EPP Exclusions for guidance on writing exclusions.

  • Observations: each observation in Investigate and Experience shows its category, Endpoint, Network or Cloud, and the integration that raised it where there is one, such as Microsoft 365. Hover over the label for a description.
  • Data Connectors: the integration catalogue is grouped into categories, with tabs to move between them, and your choice of tab is remembered. Connectors that are on the way show Get notified when we launch, so you can register your interest.

What's improved

  • Experience: exports of large data sets are much faster.
  • Experience: the Investigate window opened from a case uses almost the whole screen, with its close button at the top right.
  • Knowledge Graph: a device's details in a case list every user seen on the device. Select an observation to see only the users involved in it.
  • Endpoint Protection: extra spaces around an exclusion path are removed when you save, so a stray space can't stop an exclusion from matching.
  • Data Connectors: the Integrations page has a clearer empty state and shows a placeholder while your connections load.
